3 SLNA players were called up by coach Park Hang-seo to join U22 Vietnam
(Baonghean.vn) - Today (October 28), Head Coach Park Hang-seo officially sent the Vietnam Football Federation a proposal for the list of players to gather for the third round of the National U22 Team in 2020.
Accordingly, at this training session,National U22 Teamwill gather a total of 33 players, including 4 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 14 midfielders and 6 strikers. Among the 33 players named by coach Park Hang-seo in the training list, the majority are those who have gathered since the second training session last August.
In the list, SLNA has 3 faces called by coach Park Hang-seo to concentrate: center back Thai Ba Sang, defender Mai Sy Hoang and midfielder Nguyen Van Viet. Midfielder Dang Van Lam is absent because this player is currently being treated for an injury.

Based on the competition schedule of the LS 2020 National Championship and LS 2020 National First Division, the players will be divided into 3 groups focusing on 3 times. Group 1 including 23 players will gather from November 2, group 2 including 2 players will gather on November 3 and group 3 including the remaining players will gather on November 9.
According to the plan, the National U22 Team will enter the first training session on the afternoon of November 2 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center and end the first phase of the training session on November 16 to return the players to their clubs to participate in the qualifying round and the final round of the 2020 National U21 Football Championship.
Phase 2 of the training session is expected to take place from December 20 to December 28, 2020. The purpose of the training session is to continue to review and evaluate players to build a force for the 2022 U23 Asian qualifiers and the 31st SEA Games in 2021.
