On November 26, the People's Committee of Phuc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district confirmed that 3 children in the commune were taken to the hospital by their families for emergency treatment due to suspicion of eating rice soaked in chemicals.kill rats
According to initial information, on the afternoon of November 25, 3 children of Mr. NVT (residing in Hamlet 9, Phuc Thanh Commune), including 1 girl born in 2017 and 2 twin boys born in 2019, went to Mr. TVN's house (living in the same hamlet to play).

Here, when they saw the rice grains soaked in rat poison to trap rats (no one was home at the time), the children picked up some rice to eat.
Upon discovering the incident, the children’s father ran to take the rice grains out of their mouths and quickly took them to Yen Thanh District General Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the children were still in a normal state and had no symptoms.
But then the family was not reassured so they continued to ask to be taken to a hospital in Vinh City for further monitoring. Currently the three children are being actively monitored by doctors.
