3 subjects are not allowed to take the entrance exam to part-time university and college
The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued the Regulations on University and College Admissions for the Work-Study Program (old part-time program). Accordingly, there are 3 groups of people who are not allowed to take the exam.
According to the Regulations on university and college admissions for part-time study recently announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, the three subjects who are not allowed to take the university and college entrance exams for part-time study are those who do not comply with the Law on Military Service; are being prosecuted for criminal liability or are serving a criminal sentence. Those who have been deprived of the right to take the entrance exam or have been disciplined and forced to leave school for less than the prescribed period from the date of signing the disciplinary decision to the exam date. Active military or police personnel who have not been permitted by their agency's head to attend school.
In addition to the above subjects, all citizens regardless of ethnicity, religion, belief, gender, family origin, social status, economic circumstances, who meet the following conditions are eligible to take the university and college entrance exam in the form of Work-Study (VLVH) such as: Graduated from high school (THPT) in the form of formal education or continuing education, professional secondary school, vocational secondary school, vocational secondary school (hereinafter referred to as high school).
Vocational college graduates must have graduated from junior high school, have learned enough knowledge and passed the high school graduation exam according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Regulations for classes located locally: The facility for hosting the class must be a university, college, vocational secondary school (TCCN) or provincial continuing education center (TT GDTX) that ensures the requirements for facilities, equipment and management staff for the training majors; is responsible for managing students, supervising the implementation of teaching plans of lecturers and preparing facilities according to the requirements of the university or college.
Universities and colleges that place classes locally must be responsible for all stages of the training process, from announcing enrollment, organizing entrance exams, reviewing and recognizing successful candidates, training and granting graduation certificates to students.
Schools opening classes locally must have at least 2 years of formal training in that field at the school.
Every year, schools with university and college enrollment quotas in the form of VLVH only organize enrollment 4 times, in March, April, October and November, each exam lasts 4 days, the exam schedule is determined by the school principal.
Schools in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions, mountainous areas are given priority for VLVH quotas, but are not allowed to use VLVH quotas to link enrollment in other areas.
Directors of universities, academies, and principals of colleges and universities are fully responsible for all stages of VLVH admission.
This Decision on promulgating the Regulations on university and college admissions for the new part-time study form takes effect after 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 01/2001/QD-BGD&DT dated January 29, 2001 of the Minister of Education and Training on entrance exams for universities and colleges for the part-time study form (old part-time system) under the non-formal education method. Previous regulations contrary to this Decision are hereby annulled.
