3 people died from suicide by poison ivy
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 31, Captain Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Deputy Political Commissar of Tri Le Border Post (Nghe An Border Guard) said: From October 20 to 29, in the Mong ethnic minority villages of Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, there were 3 suicides using poison ivy, killing 3 victims.
Specifically: On October 20, Xong Po S, born in 1988, in Huoi Moi 1 village, due to unresolved family conflicts, ate poison ivy leaves to commit suicide. Then, at 5:00 p.m. on October 25, Tho Ba L, born in 1999, son of Tho Tong De and Mua Y Tru, in Pa Khom village, due to conflicts with his parents, ate poison ivy leaves, leading to his death.
Most recently, at 6 p.m. on October 29, Ms. Ly YC, born in 1997, in Muong Long village, due to a conflict with her husband Vu Ba Long and his parents-in-law, ate poison leaves. Her family discovered the discovery and brought her back to the village for treatment, but she died due to severe poisoning.
