In 3 months, the new Hyundai i20 received 41,000 orders
Launched in August, Hyundai India has received over 41,000 bookings for the all-new Elite i20 within three months and has delivered 20,000 units to customers. The Elite i20 has become Hyundai’s most successful model in the South Asian country.
Despite the price not being considered cheap, the new Elite i20 still attracts consumers thanks to its new design style, many features, powerful engine and 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission.
While the old generation Hyundai i20 achieved sales of 3,000-4,000 cars per month, Hyundai delivered 6,627 Elite i20 cars in August, followed by 8,903 cars in September. With increasing demand, Elite i20 is sure to explode even more.

The 2015 Hyundai Elite i20 has been revised both in terms of exterior and interior. The overall styling of the car follows the “Storm-edge” philosophy seen on its predecessors.
The front of the car is sportier thanks to the trapezoidal grille and larger headlights than the current version. In addition, there are new 8-spoke alloy wheels, the C-pillars have been adjusted to bring a floating appearance. Meanwhile, the vertical taillights have been replaced with horizontal ones, giving the car a muscular look.
In terms of performance, the 2015 Hyundai Elite i20 has two options: a 1.2L gasoline engine with 83 horsepower, 115 Nm of torque, combined with a 5-speed gearbox, consuming 5.37 liters/100km and a 1.4L CRDI diesel engine with 90 horsepower, 220 Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox, consuming 4.46 liters/100km.
The interior space of the i20, which is the standard in the segment, has also undergone changes. Specifically, the Korean car company has upgraded the i20's cabin with rear air-conditioning vents, front seats with better lumbar support, a quality sound system and a different design... The storage area of the new Elite i20 is 285 liters.
In terms of safety, the Hyundai Elite i20 has dual airbags, ABS anti-lock brakes, smart pedal, rear camera with smart parking guidance and parking sensors.
