3 candidates won first prize in the 2017 Provincial Non-Professional Youth Informatics Competition

This year's Nghe An Youth Informatics Competition attracted more than 2,000 contestants to participate in the district-level preliminary round. The provincial competition gathered 214 students to participate in both parts (Knowledge and skills competition and creative software competition). The IT knowledge and skills competition had 190 students, including 67 primary school students, 50 secondary school students and 73 high school students. The creative software competition had 24 students and 10 products participating in the competition.

The 23rd Youth Informatics Competition has demonstrated both depth and breadth; it has affirmed the movement of passion for learning Informatics and applying IT among students. Thereby, it has shown the attention, investment and training for students at all levels of schools in the subject of Informatics.

The Organizing Committee awarded 3 First Prizes, 11 Second Prizes, 15 Third Prizes and 34 Encouragement Prizes; selected 4 contestants with the highest results in each group to be trained to attend the National Competition held in Bac Ninh in early August 2017.
