3 criteria for social policy households to receive electricity bill support
The Prime Minister has just signed a decision regulating criteria for social policy households to receive electricity bill support.

- Households with members receiving monthly social allowances are not poor households according to the provisions of law and have the amount of electricity used for domestic purposes in a month not exceeding 50kWh in areas with grid electricity;
- Households with members receiving social benefits according to the law living in areas without electricity grid;
- Ethnic minority households living in areas without electricity grid.
The decision clearly states that in case a household has many members receiving monthly social allowances or is eligible for electricity support under different policies, they will only receive the highest level of electricity support.
