30 talented young faces of Vietnam under 30 years old in 2016

On January 25, Forbes Vietnam announced the list of "30 Under 30", a list of 30 outstanding faces under 30 years old in many different fields in Vietnam.

Those selected for the list are under 30 years old, working in various fields and initially creating positive influences in their professions and fields of activity.

“The first “30 Under 30” list by Forbes Vietnam in 2015 created a buzz and was a source of inspiration for young people who are eager to succeed. The 2016 list continues to introduce new faces who are making a positive impact in their industries and fields of operation,” said Mr. Nguyen Bao Hoang, Chairman of Interactive Media Company, the commercial representative of Forbes Vietnam.

“By making the 30 Under 30 list an annual event in Vietnam, Forbes Vietnam hopes to further promote attention to the young generation, the future generation of leaders,” added Mr. Nguyen Bao Hoang.

The people on the list are chosen from many different fields, from business, technology startups to science, social activities, arts, music, entertainment, sports.

“There are more and more young people starting up in the technology sector, using the Internet as a tool to develop services and influence in the market. This list also includes many social activists or social entrepreneurs, who organize activities or do business to solve social problems,” said Ms. Nguyen Lan Anh, editorial secretary of Forbes Vietnam.

Forbes Vietnam said that although there are no large-scale enterprises in Vietnam developed by young founders under 30 years old, many young people of this age are being assigned to important executive roles in large enterprises. In addition, they are also making efforts to innovate, find new business models or social impact activities based on technology.

Following the success of the Under 30 Summit held for the first time in 2015, Forbes Vietnam will organize the second Under 30 Summit, scheduled for April this year.

“This year’s Young Generation Forum by Forbes Vietnam will truly be an international event with the participation of the world’s and Vietnam’s top stars. Members of the global Forbes 30 Under 30 list will also be invited to attend,” said Ms. Nguyen Lan Anh.
