30 Chinese fishing boats were organized into 2 squadrons and simultaneously went to the Cross Reef area, Truong Sa archipelago under Vietnam's sovereignty to illegally exploit resources under the support of the Fisheries Administration ship.
Xinhua News Agency reported that this is the largest number of Chinese fishing boats ever to simultaneously go to the Truong Sa area, with an expected duration of about 20 days in the waters near Doc Lap Reef (illegally occupied by China) in the Truong Sa archipelago under Vietnam's sovereignty.
In this fishing fleet, there is a 3,000-ton general logistics ship that supplies oil, water, ice and fish for the remaining 29 ships, and is also in charge of commanding the entire Chinese fishing fleet. The remaining 29 ships are all over 140 tons with 16 fishermen on each ship.
