300 delegates attended the 2nd National Congress of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association
The 2nd National Congress of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association will take place on January 3-4, 2013 in Hanoi, with the participation of 300 outstanding young physicians from the central and local levels.

That was the information given at the press conference introducing the Congress taking place on the morning of December 27. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association said that the 300 delegates represent hundreds of thousands of young physicians with good expertise, good medical ethics, ready to devote themselves and volunteer for the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
During the 2 days, delegates will review and evaluate the implementation results of the Resolution of the 1st Congress (term 2009-2012), set out goals, directions, and tasks for the Association and the Young Doctors movement (term 2012-2015), demonstrating the determination to be proactive and volunteer of the young Vietnamese doctors.
The Congress will approve the revised Charter of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and consult to elect the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, term II.
Also within the framework of the Congress, 10 outstanding young Vietnamese doctors in 2012 will be honored; the Workshop “Medical issues in Vietnam and the role of the Vietnam Young Doctors Association”, the Discussion “Building and developing the Vietnam Young Doctors Association through establishing newspapers, websites, and magazines of the Association” will also be held along with the launching of the Advisory Council of the Vietnam Young Doctors Association./.
