300 investors file complaint against Sky Mining cryptocurrency mining farm owner

"We have collected about 300 complaints from investors who have contributed money to buy virtual currency mining machines at Sky Mining. Many other groups of investors are also gathering and filing lawsuits against Sky Mining General Director Le Minh Tam after he "disappeared" - Mr. Dung said.

Some investors in Sky Mining Company's virtual currency mining machines have gone to the police to file a complaint.

According to the complaint of these people, investors were shared about the project by the Sky Mining management and promoted as an organization specializing in investing in buying machines to mine virtual currency, investors contributed capital with many different amounts, from 500 USD to thousands of USD. The profit that investors will enjoy is up to 300% in 12-15 months. There is a capital contribution contract signed.

"After the initial period of paying interest on time. Around June 2018, the company started to delay and did not pay interest as committed. On July 21, Sky Mining's board of directors announced the absence of the general director and currently we have not received any money, there is no official announcement from the company. Preliminary calculations show that about 11,000 investors have poured money into this network" - Mr. Thanh, an investor said.

Mr. Thanh joined Sky Mining from the beginning and invested a total of 75,000 USD into this cryptocurrency mining network, expecting to enjoy high interest rates. "Up to now, the general director has disappeared, I still have about 35,000 USD in capital that has not been recovered. Mr. Le Minh Tam has signs of appropriating all of our investment money after going missing," said Mr. Thanh.

Sky Mining, with Mr. Le Minh Tam (residing in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City) as General Director, was licensed by the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan district on March 28, 2018.

A representative of Phu Nhuan District Police said that on the afternoon of July 30, they received a complaint from a group of investors in Sky Mining. Previously, the police had also received 9 complaints and invited 4 investors to work. The police are investigating and clarifying the case.

Previously, Mr. Le Minh Tam suddenly posted a video explaining the scandal at Sky Mining in recent days and said he was going to the US for "medical treatment", promising to return to resolve the problems with investors.

Meanwhile, at Sky Mining headquarters at 202B Hoang Van Thu, Phu Nhuan district, on the afternoon of July 30, the company office was closed, and the Sky Mining sign was no longer there. Many investors came and then left disappointed because they could not contact the company's management. This is an office building for rent with many companies registered as their headquarters.

"This morning, some foreign investors who invested in Sky Mining came to look for him but could not find anyone. Some even cried after learning that the company's general director was missing," said a security guard at the 202B Hoang Van Thu office complex.
