300 gifts to people in flood-hit areas of Hung Nguyen

(Baonghean.vn)-On the morning of October 21, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Tien Phong Newspaper to present support gifts from Masan Group and Vingroup Group to people in 6 communes of Hung Nguyen district.

Attending the gift-giving ceremony were comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper; representatives of philanthropists including Tien Phong Newspaper, Thien Tam Fund of Masan Group, Vingroup Group; representatives of local authorities and people of 6 communes of Hung Nguyen district.

Comrade Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, on behalf of the benefactors, expressed his sympathy and shared with the people in Hung Nguyen district, hoping that the gifts would contribute to encouraging people to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.

This time, 300 gifts were given to people affected by the recent floods in 6 communes of Hung Nguyen district, including: Hung Linh, Hung Xa, Hung Xuan, Hung Thong, Hung Thang and Hung Tan.

300 gifts include 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag containing necessities such as instant noodles, fish sauce, sausages... worth 200,000 VND.

The flood on October 15th in Hung Nguyen district severely affected people and property; 4 people died, the traffic system was severely eroded, and many crop areas were flooded.
