33 petitions from voters sent to the Provincial People's Council hotline

Chairing the meeting, Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council received voters' feedback sent to the meeting via the hotline.

Voters reported that some provincial People's Council delegates were still on the phone, doing personal work, and entering and exiting the hall in a disorderly manner. The form of address of some delegates when answering was not appropriate.

Many issues were raised by voters surrounding the toll collection for the BOT project across Ben Thuy Bridge; some degraded roads and bridges that need to be upgraded and repaired; land management and use; and granting of certificates of house ownership in apartment buildings.

Regarding the education and training sector, voters reflected on the shortcomings surrounding the implementation of socialization of education and collection in schools; purchasing educational equipment and using equipment for the Phu Dong Sports Festival held in Nghe An; and limitations in arranging jobs for ethnic minority students who were recruited.

In addition, voters also reported many issues related to the poor quality of power lines in some places, which are potentially dangerous; limited allocation of resources for new rural construction; and the use of chemicals and pesticides of unknown origin and not following proper procedures in crop production.

Voters also pointed out the delay in implementing policies and regimes for people with meritorious services, especially those who have lost their documents. The construction of the Thanh Lake renovation project damaged people's houses, but the construction unit has not yet compensated. Some fees are collected in violation of regulations at the grassroots level...

Also through the hotline, the Nghe An Association of Outstanding Enterprises requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the sectors to remove difficulties for enterprises in implementing Directive No. 18, dated November 28, 2016 of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening the management of construction order, ensuring safety in construction works in the province, because there are points that are not consistent with reality and regulations of the Ministry of Construction, affecting the construction of enterprises.

Speaking to acknowledge and thank the opinions of voters sent to the meeting, on behalf of the meeting chair, Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council requested the delegates attending the meeting to strictly follow the regulations, ensuring the seriousness of the meeting. Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Cao Thi Hien also affirmed: The contents of the voters' recommendations and reflections will be sent by the meeting chair to the relevant departments for response and sent to voters at the addresses received.
