330 students received free eye exams
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 28, 2014, in Quynh Luu district, Prudential Insurance Company organized a 'Free eye examination' program for 330 students of Quynh Van primary school.

Here, ophthalmologists from the Central Eye Hospital and Military Hospital 4 provide basic advice on eye care, eye examinations for parents and students, and provide free medicine to children. Within the framework of this program, through screening, detecting, and classifying eye diseases, the doctors also provide appropriate treatment for the children.

The program was implemented in Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An. The total number of children receiving free eye examinations in the four provinces reached 1,200. This is a community activity in a cooperation project between Prudence Foundation, a member of the UK Prudential Group, and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFFV) since August 5, 2013. Participants in the program include NFFV and local NFFVs, the Department of Ophthalmology at Hanoi Medical University Hospital, and Prudence Foundation.
In Quynh Luu district from 2011 to present, every year the company has continuously coordinated with local departments to organize charity sponsorship programs for the community such as: giving gifts to women's union members, giving scholarships to poor students, giving bicycles to poor but studious students...
