35 contestants compete in the 8th Nghe An Television Singing Festival
Sao Mai Award is an artistic activity held every two years to maintain and develop the singing movement of the province, and at the same time discover good and excellent voices to participate in the Sao Mai Television Singing Festival in the Central and Central Highlands regions and the National Sao Mai Award in 2013.
(Baonghean.vn) -Sao Mai Award is an artistic activity held every two years to maintain and develop the singing movement of the province, and at the same time discover good and excellent voices to participate in the Sao Mai Television Singing Festival in the Central and Central Highlands regions and the National Sao Mai Award in 2013.
This year's festival has 35 contestants registered to compete in all 3 music genres, including 7 Classical Chamber Music contestants; 9 Folk Music contestants; and 19 Light Music contestants. The Organizing Committee also gave 10 contestants a special pass to the final round of the 8th Sao Mai Awards. These are contestants studying at the Conservatory of Music in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue and the Military University of Culture and Arts; contestants who entered the final round of the previous Sao Mai Awards and contestants currently studying at colleges of culture and arts nationwide.
The 8th Nghe An Television Singing Festival - Sao Mai Award 2013 was organized in 3 rounds, taking place from June 17 to June 26, 2013 (including preliminary round, final round, and final night) in 3 performance styles: classical chamber music, folk music and pop music.
After the preliminary round, the jury will select outstanding faces to continue competing in the final round which will be held on June 22.
