350 million VND in the safe of the Commune People's Committee was stolen

After the meeting, the female accountant of Vinh Tan commune returned to her office and was surprised to find that the safe had been opened and all the money inside was missing, while the door showed no signs of being forced open.

On November 11, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Cuu District Police, Dong Nai Province, said they were searching for a suspect who stole nearly 350 million VND right at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Vinh Tan Commune.

According to initial information, at around 4:40 p.m. on November 8, after finishing a Party cell meeting, Ms. Bui Thi Huyen Trang (accountant of Vinh Tan commune) returned to her office and discovered that the safe door in the room was open but there were no signs of forced entry.

The safe of Vinh Tan commune was broken into and stolen.

Upon inspection, nearly 350 million VND including tax revenue, environmental sanitation fees and people's contributions to road construction in the safe had disappeared.

Upon receiving the report, Vinh Cuu District Police went to the scene to conduct an investigation and take statements from relevant people to verify the incident.

Through initial verification, the financial accounting department of Vinh Tan commune has two employees working.

At around 11am on November 8, both employees left the room to go home for lunch. In the early afternoon, both returned to work.

At this time, Ms. Bui Thi Huyen Trang was holding a party cell meeting at the commune committee hall, the remaining staff in the financial accounting department were working until Ms. Trang returned and discovered the incident.
