That is, fundamentally innovating the form and method of examination, testing and assessment, promoting the work of streaming and career orientation for students, fundamentally innovating the work of education and training management, focusing on quality management, promoting the application of information technology in schools, innovating policies and financial mechanisms, mobilizing the participation and contributions of the whole society... Nghe An is the first province in the country to implement the School Milk program.

After 5 years, the province has also recognized 228 more schools that meet national standards (increasing the number of standard schools from 52.95% in 2013 to 68.66% in 2018); 866 schools have been assessed for the quality of universal education with breakthrough achievements; the quality of general education has been firmly affirmed; the results of national and international excellent students have continuously ranked in the top 3 nationwide...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong highly appreciated the efforts of the entire education sector after 5 years of implementing Resolution 29-NQ/TW on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training.

In addition, he also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the structure, arrangement and organization of the teaching staff; arrangement of school size; the rate of mobilizing kindergartens has not reached the target; the management of revenue and expenditure; the practice of extra teaching and learning still exists; the effectiveness of using socialized educational resources for additional investment in school facilities is not high, there are still signs of fragmentation, small-scale and wastefulness.

With the goal of developing learners' qualities and capacities, in the coming years, the Vice President requested that the entire education sector needs to carry out 4 breakthrough tasks: That is, implementing the new general education program and textbooks to ensure scientific, local suitability and learner effectiveness.
