Known as the "island country", besides the attractive beaches in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province also owns many pristine islands with emerald green water and many impressive recreational activities.

This summer, visitors can add Binh Lap Island, Diep Son Island, Hon Mun Island, Hon Tam Island to their itinerary when visiting Khanh Hoa.

Binh Lap Island

Located in the famous "four Binhs" of Vietnam along with Binh Ba, Binh Hung and Binh Tien, Binh Lap is a small peninsula in Cam Lap commune, Cam Ranh city and about 80 km from Nha Trang city.

Binh Lap Island is known as the "Maldives of Vietnam" because of its one kilometer long stretch of fine white sand, a surrounding system of rocky mountains, and many large rocks jutting out in the middle of the sea. The water on Binh Lap Island is emerald green, so clear and clean that you can see hidden coral reefs.

Compared to famous tourist islands in Khanh Hoa, Binh Lap still retains its wild and quiet beauty, so many tourists often choose this place as a summer resort.

The climate on the island is temperate all year round with two seasons: rainy and dry. The best time to visit Binh Lap Island is from April to August. The sunny weather, clear skies and calm seas will make it easier to travel to the island.

There are many other interesting destinations around Binh Lap Island. Visitors can enjoy the fresh air and poetic natural scenery when coming to Bai Lao, Bai Ngang or admire the colorful coral reefs at Bai Ran, Bai Con.

People on Binh Lap Island live mainly by shrimp farming. Visiting the floating houses and observing the process of catching shrimp will help visitors truly feel the rustic life here.

In addition, visitors can try a day as "Robinson living on a deserted island" by renting a tent to camp overnight or slowly paddling SUP to watch the sea, which is also an activity loved by many visitors.

There are no mountains, no tourist services, and no entertainment. In return, Diep Son archipelago possesses majestic natural scenery with fine white sand, clear blue water and a rich marine ecosystem.

The main attraction for tourists is the sea road built up by white sand, connecting two nearby islands. At around 12 o'clock, the sea water recedes to reveal a beautiful winding road. Tourists can comfortably walk from one island to the other, watching the seaweed under the clear water on both sides.

Diep Son archipelago is most beautiful in spring and summer, from December to June when the sea is calm and filled with sunshine.

Located in a secluded location, Diep Son archipelago does not have many nearby places to combine sightseeing. However, visitors can rent a canoe to go around the archipelago to explore nature or kayak in the clear water, watching the tiny fish swimming below.

In addition, the local residents have also built a few small restaurants to serve the dining needs of tourists. Seafood such as shrimp, squid, oysters, etc. are all fresh and have reasonable prices.

Move:Visitors can travel by motorbike, car or bus to Van Gia port (Van Ninh district). Then go to the island by canoe for about 10 minutes or by boat for about 30 minutes.
