The study was conducted by a team of experts from Germany and Italy, published in the British Journal of Pharmacology. They tested the diterpenoid on mouse and human cells. Dr. Giuseppe Bifulco of the University of Salerno (Italy), one of the participants in the study, assessed that the new findings have helped science gain a deeper insight into the anti-inflammatory mechanism and effects of herbs.
Turmeric
According to India Times, curcumin extract in turmeric has anti-cancer properties, helps inhibit pain, and also searches for and destroys free radicals that cause cancer. A study conducted by the Cancer Research Center in New York, USA, concluded that turmeric helps prevent inflammation better than aspirin.
