40,000 people fell into the trap of the Tam Mat Troi multi-level fraud "corporation"
Also with the "trick" of paying a fee of 6 million VND to become a member and inviting others to become a network member to receive a "commission" of 1.5 million VND, Tam Mat Troi company has attracted nearly 40 thousand people in 30 provinces and cities to participate.
The Ministry of Public Security’s Investigation Police Agency has just urgently arrested Nguyen Hoang Vu (31 years old, residing in Phan Rang – Thap Cham, Ninh Thuan province, temporarily residing in Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh city), the General Director of Tam Mat Troi Company. In addition, 5 other “top” members of this multi-level marketing company were also arrested to serve the investigation.
During the search of the workplaces and homes of the "top executives" of Tam Mat Troi Company, the police also seized many documents and evidence related to the fraud.
According to initial information, Tam Mat Troi Investment Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as Tam Mat Troi Company, trading name is Tam Mat Troi Investment Corporation). Tam Mat Troi has its headquarters on Song Da Street, Ward 2, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City (near the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Mua Ban 24 network). In addition, Tam Mat Troi also has an office in a building on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ward Da Kao, District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) and many branches in more than 30 provinces and cities across the country. Tam Mat Troi is a member of the Vietnam E-commerce Association.
However, the company's operations have a highly technical team and strategic advisory board of leading experts in e-commerce as an online multi-level marketing network with many sophisticated fraud schemes.
The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency arrested and searched the workplace of Nguyen Hoang Vu - General Director of Tam Mat Troi Company..
Recently, along with the Mua Ban 24 network being shut down, the police received many complaints about being scammed out of money by Tam Mat Troi Investment Joint Stock Company.
Through investigation, the police agency determined that Tam Mat Troi Company also applied a form of multi-level marketing similar to the operations of Mua Ban 24, Sinh Loi... Accordingly, Tam Mat Troi called on everyone to join as members to own an electronic store and buy a variety of goods at extremely cheap prices. To enjoy this benefit and become a member of the network, each person must pay 6 million VND. In addition, each member must continuously expand the system by attracting more people to join. When introducing another person to join, they will receive a commission of 1.5 million VND. However, no one has been able to buy goods from this type of online multi-level marketing. Because they were cheated out of money, many victims were upset and sent complaints to local police about the "tricks" of Tam Mat Troi Company. Up to now, Tam Mat Troi Company has developed a network across 30 provinces and cities and nearly 40,000 people have fallen into this network.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Department is expanding its investigation into the operations and branches located in other provinces and cities of Tam Mat Troi Company.
