40 Dan Lai ethnic people have been liberated

(Baonghean.vn) -On June 13, Chau Khe Border Guard Station - Nghe An Border Guard announced: after 5 months of studying, 40 Dan Lai ethnic people (aged 15 - 35, from Bu and Na villages, Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district, Nghe An) have completed the literacy program opened by Chau Khe Border Guard Station in coordination with Chau Khe Primary School 2 in the area.

The class has 40 students, including 15 males and 25 females, with 98 lessons taught directly by teachers from the school and officers from the Station. After the final exam, 100% passed, of which 65% were good.

To help students attend classes, the Chau Khe Station Command has allocated 5 million VND from the unit's fund to purchase books and materials for study and teaching. The results have confirmed the effectiveness of the close coordination between the border station and the school in implementing the illiteracy eradication program for the Dan Lai ethnic group in the area where the unit is stationed.
