400 booths participate in the North Central Region Industry and Trade Fair
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 1, in Vinh City, the opening ceremony of the North Central Region Industry and Trade Fair took place under the 2014 National Trade Promotion Program.
Attending and cutting the ribbon to open the fair were comrade Cao Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. On behalf of Nghe An province's leaders, there were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Fair Organizing Committee; Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; representatives of the authorities and enterprises of some provinces of the Lao PDR and the Kingdom of Thailand.

The 2014 North Central Industry and Trade Fair attracted 400 booths of 200 enterprises from 22 provinces and cities nationwide, 3 provinces of Lao PDR and 4 provinces of the Kingdom of Thailand, with diverse and abundant products serving the needs of consumption, production, business, introducing the potential and achievements of economic development, investment, trade and tourism of provinces and localities at home and abroad.

The fair takes place from December 1-7, 2014 with many programs of trade promotion, product and brand promotion, promotion of potential, development achievements... This is an effective bridge, an important trade promotion channel, creating conditions for localities, enterprises, cooperatives to trade, seek business cooperation opportunities; at the same time contributing to promoting trade promotion and investment activities between the North Central provinces in particular and the whole country in general; enhancing Vietnam's competitiveness and integration capacity.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to units with achievements participating in the Fair.
