The 23rd Vietnam Record Holders Reunion took place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 27. The Asian Record Organization recognized 43 Vietnamese records, including 12 Vietnamese dishes as Asian records based on the criteria of Asian culinary values.

Hanoi Bun Thang just set an Asian record
The 12 Vietnamese dishes that officially set Asian records for the first time were named: Hanoi pho, Hanoi bun cha, Hanoi bun thang, Hai Phong crab rice noodles, Ninh Binh burnt rice, Nghe An eel vermicelli, Hue beef noodle soup, Quang noodles, Gia Lai dry pho, Vung Tau banh khot, Saigon spring rolls, Saigon broken rice.
In addition, six new Asian records for record holders and Vietnamese record holders were also established and announced.
