47 disabled children received gifts on the occasion of June 1st

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 2017 Children's Action Month, on the afternoon of May 31, leaders of Yen Thanh district visited and gave gifts to a number of disabled children in the district.

The delegation visited Hien Luong social protection facility in hamlet 7, Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, which is taking care of 31 disabled children and orphans with no one to rely on.

Although there are still many difficulties in terms of facilities and childcare conditions, with the attention of local authorities and the enthusiasm, dedication and responsibility of the facility owner, the children here are increasingly well cared for and live in a safe and friendly environment.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited 16 disabled and abandoned children being cared for and raised at the Faustina Thien Tam Shelter in Do Thanh commune.

The district leaders hope that the children will be healthy and have a better life in the loving home, to become useful citizens for society. This is a meaningful gift, not only providing material support but also encouraging the spirit, helping disabled children have more confidence and motivation to rise up in life./.
