These are all places that still retain their pristine beauty, with no trace of human presence.

Tepui "cloud table" mountain, Venezuela

Its name means a high, majestic mountain range that soars above the clouds that it is almost impossible to reach the horizon. Tepui is a flat-topped mountain range found in the Guayana Highlands of South America, especially in Venezuela. In the language of the Pemon people who live in the Gran Sabana, “tepui” means “house of the gods.”

No one has ever set foot on the top of the mountain.

The mountain exists independently, unconnected to any other mountain, and is home to hundreds of endemic species of flora and fauna. The mountain stands almost completely vertical and rises more than 1,000m above the surrounding forest. The sheer cliffs, reaching heights of up to 3,000m in some places, make this place inaccessible by foot.

Tepui is the remains of a large sandstone plateau that was once covered by granite. Over millions of years, it has been eroded away and all that remains is the Tepui we see today. Scientists and explorers have yet to reach the top of the Tepui.

Honokohau Falls (USA)

“Foreign” is the word that explorers used when they first discovered Honokohau Falls on the island of Maui, Hawaii (USA). This place is the location that appears frequently in the movie “Jurassic Park” because it gives the audience a look and a feeling of a completely “foreign” world compared to the rest.

It is named after the long Honokohau River that flows from the top of Puu Kukui, which receives up to 9,000mm of rainfall annually, also the area said to have the highest rainfall in the world.

Rocky Mountains in Madagascar

Sharp cliffs and canyons that seem to pierce the clear blue sky above are the specialties of the rocky mountains in the Republic of Madagascar, Africa. They were formed over millions of years and the narrow caves are deep underground, the deepest place is 120m. Monsoon rains have eroded the thick layer of limestone and sediment from the Cretaceous period, thereby creating one of the most unique and mysterious natural wonders in the world to humans.

There is no human existence due to the harshness and almost unconquerable terrain of this place.

Only a few species can survive here, like this lemur. Living with them are just a few reptiles, insects and plants.

Dallol, Ethiopia

This place is called by paparazzi as hell on Earth. or the lowest land volcano in the world. The reason is because with an environment with record high salinity, no animals or plants can survive. And it is understandable that humans cannot set foot to explore this place.

Dallol is located in the Danakil Desert, in northeastern Ethiopia. This mysterious area is 116m below sea level, with an average annual temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. Nearby is the Dallol volcano, which erupted in late 1926. This place is extremely hot and super salty, a graveyard for any life but a paradise for brave photographers. But they cannot stand here for long or they will die.

Gangkhar Puensum Mountain

The highest mountain that has not been climbed by humans is Gangkhar Puensum, located in the disputed territory between Bhutan and China. The mountain is 7,570m above sea level. The mountain was first "measured" in 1922, but many believe that this height is still inaccurate because the expedition at that time was unable to conquer the summit. In addition, mountain climbing in Bhutan is also an act prohibited due to respect for religious beliefs.
