5 typical faces of SLNA were called up to the Vietnam U23 team

(Baonghean.vn) - 5 typical faces of SLNA including Tran Manh Quynh, Dinh Xuan Tien, Phan Ba Quyen, Ho Van Cuong and Le Thanh Lam were called by the head coach of the Vietnam U23 team to gather in this training session. This is a training session to prepare for the 2022 Southeast Asian U23 Football Tournament.

In spite ofU21 SLNAfailed to pass the group stage of the 2021 national U21 team, but these are 5 faces who played impressively and were highly appreciated by experts when the U21 tournament just took place in Hung Yen.

Recently, to prepare for the new season, SLNA Club also promoted Tran Manh Quynh, Dinh Xuan Tien, Phan Ba Quyen, Ho Van Cuong and Le Thanh Lam to train with the first team. During the training process, these players demonstrated their outstanding qualities. When the National U21 Tournament started, all 5 faces were selected.Coach Quang Truongplaced great trust in them. And in fact, they have left many marks in this year's tournament.

Tran Manh Quynh was arranged to play as an attacking midfielder for the yellow team. This striker proved to be the explosive force in SLNA's attacks. Quynh scored many important goals with the Nghe An U21 team in both the qualifying round and the national U21 final round.

Another player, Le Thanh Lam, is also a good central defender. This player has an ideal appearance with a height of over 1.8m, and is a reliable stopper for the yellow team. He was also the player who received the title of best player in the match between U21 SLNA and U21 Nam Dinh in the national U21 group stage.

In addition, Dinh Xuan Tien, Phan Ba Quyen, and Ho Van Cuong are players who were only born in 2003 but have shown remarkable maturity in a short time.

These 5 players are expected to join the Vietnam U23 team from January 5 to February 27, 2022. This is the team's training session to prepare for the Southeast Asian U23 Football Championship taking place from February 14 to February 26, 2022 in Cambodia.
