President Putin and Chancellor Merkel will hold talks in Germany in 5 days
On August 18, at the Mezeberg government residence, German Chancellor Angela Merkel will host Russian President Vladimir Putin, German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said at a press conference.

"On August 18 at 6:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. Hanoi time), the German Chancellor will welcome Russian President Vladimir Putin at the government residence. The focus of the meeting will be foreign policy," said Mr. Seibert.
The meeting may discuss bilateral relations between the two countries as well as solutions for Syria and Ukraine, and energy cooperation, Mr. Steffen Seibert added.
