5 Nghe An artists honored to receive the title of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist
(Baonghean.vn) - 5 Nghe An artists include: Script writer and actor An Ninh; singer Que Thuong; singer and actor Thien Hue; singer and actor Minh Thong; singer Minh Tam from the provincial Traditional Arts Center.
The 10th People's Artist and Meritorious Artist Award Ceremony took place this morning (March 6) at the Hanoi Opera House. Attending and directing the Award Ceremony were Comrade Vo Van Thuong - Politburo member, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung and Deputy Ministers of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Nearly 400 individuals nationwide who were awarded this time are talented artists in many fields. They are all artists who have made outstanding contributions to the country's literature and arts, many of whose names are "memorized" by generations of the public...
The group receiving the title of People's Artist includes names such as: Xuan Bac, Thanh Lam, singer couple Tan Minh - Thu Huyen, actress My Uyen. Being awarded the title at a young age, many people said that the recognition from the State gave them confidence to continue to contribute.
The group receiving Meritorious Artists includes Oc Thanh Van, veteran actress Le Mai, and actor Duc Trung. They are actors and artists who have made great contributions to the country's television, cinema, and theater.

Among the nearly 400 individuals awarded this title, Artist An Ninh is the script writer and veteran actor of Nghe An Province's Traditional Arts Center. He emotionally said: "After nearly 50 years of artistic activities and being attached to the professional stage, this is the most emotional time I have ever been on stage. The achievements in the process of dedication and labor in the past time have been recognized by the State and the People. This will be a new motivation for me to continue to contribute to the stage arts of my home province."

People's Artist An Ninh is the author who has almost exclusively adapted scripts for the past 20 years at the Provincial Traditional Arts Center. He has written all of the Nghe Tinh Folk Dramas to adapt them from literary scripts to Nghe Tinh Folk Dramas. Many of these works have won Gold Medals at national professional folk drama festivals. Typical examples include:Words of Man, Words of the Country, One Tree Cannot Make a Mountain, Looking into the Past, The Race in the Dark, The Stork in the Storm, The Case of Am But Muong...In this position, People's Artist An Ninh won 2 awards for "Outstanding Script Adaptation Author" for 2 plays:His words are the words of the country,2008 andOne tree cannot make a forest,2010
He is also a veteran actor with his own voice and acting style and mainly plays the main character. Although he has not participated in many performances, in his career as an actor, he has won 3 prestigious Gold Medals. These are: Gold Medal for the role of a teacher in the play "Teacher and Student" at the National Professional Folk Drama Festival in 2018; Gold Medal for the role of Mr. Trung in the play "The 13th Person" at the Professional Folk Drama Festival in 2019; Gold Medal for the role of Deputy Chief Inspector in the play "Vang Sang" at the Professional Folk Drama Festival in 2022.

Artist Que Thuong is a singer of the Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, now part of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center, since 2002. Throughout her career, the artist has made many outstanding contributions.
In 2004, won the Gold Medal at the National Student Singing Contest of Cultural and Artistic Schools and Fine Arts Exhibition.
In 2015, won the Gold Medal for solo "Lullaby of Origin" at the National Professional Music and Dance Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sports.
In 2016, he won the A prize with the work "There is a countryside in me" awarded by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Musicians Association.
In 2018, won a Gold Medal with the work "Oh, the fate of a girl" at the National Professional Music and Dance Competition.

Artist Nguyen Thi Hue (Thien Hue) is an actress with many contributions to the field of theater. She has had many excellent roles with her sweet, natural voice and excellent acting ability.
In 2010, won the Silver Medal for the role of Linh in "One tree cannot make a forest" at the National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival.
In 2013, won the Gold Medal for the role of Huong Ly in the play "Duong Rac Trong Trong Dark" at the National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival.
In 2014, won the title of Outstanding Actor awarded by the Vietnam Stage Musicians Association.
In 2016, won the Gold Medal for the role of Nhung in the play "Teacher and Student" at the National Tuong and Folk Drama Festival.
In 2019, won the Gold Medal for the role of Lady Le Quoc in the play "Cuong Quoc Cong Nguyen Xi" at the National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival.
Artist Ho Van Thong (Minh Thong) is an excellent artist of the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Heritage, now the Provincial Traditional Arts Center. Minh Thong specializes in playing the roles of celebrities, patriots, and staunch revolutionaries thanks to his good acting ability, warm, sweet voice, and bright stage presence. He has made many contributions to the folk music and drama stage.
In 2018, won the Gold Medal for the role of a mandarin in the play "Power and Crime" at the National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival.
In 2019, won the Gold Medal for the role of Duke Cuong Nguyen Xi at the National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival.

Especially in 2020, as the main singer and the whole group participated in the "Color" Art Program at the National Professional Singing, Dancing and Music Festival and won a Gold Medal.
