A large explosion occurred at around 9:00 a.m. on November 26 - Beijing time in Jiangbei district, Ningbo city, Zhejiang province (China).
Immediately after the explosion, local authorities mobilized rescue forces along with more than 20 fire trucks and ambulances of various types to the scene to carry out rescue work.
Some witnesses at the scene said that the explosion caused strong vibrations that caused some houses in the area to collapse, the main doors and windows of many houses hundreds of meters away were also shattered, the exact number of casualties is still unknown.
It is known that the location of the explosion is an abandoned row of houses awaiting demolition, however there are still scrap dealers and homeless people residing here.
2. Cuba commemorates 1 year anniversary of death of Revolutionary Leader Fidel Castro

In a solemn atmosphere, expressing respect and gratitude, a series of activities to commemorate leader Fidel Castro took place this week, in many different forms such as: displaying books about his life and career, organizing exhibitions, and concerts.
According to the plan, on December 3, Cuba will hold a large rally and prayer ceremony at the Antonio Maceo Revolution Square in Santiago de Cuba. Then, on the morning of December 4, a large-scale march will be carried out from this Square to the Santa Ifigenia cemetery, where Fidel Castro is buried, to pay respect to this leader.
The Cuban people always remember the sacrifice of leader Fidel Castro's whole life for the happiness of the people and the sovereignty of the nation, and affirm that his ideology will light the way for the Cuban people to go to the future.
3. Exiled former Catalan leader asks EU to respect election results

Exiled Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont, who lives in Belgium, on November 26 asked the European Union (EU) and Spain to recognize the results of next month's regional elections in case pro-separatist candidates win, Reuters reported.
In his campaign launch speech, Mr. Puigdemont also called on the people of Catalonia to speak up and express their desire for independence.
"The people of Catalonia have shown the world that we are capable and that we will become an independent country. On December 21, by ballot, we must approve this," the former president said from the Belgian city of Oostkamp.
After declaring independence on October 27, Mr. Puigdemont and the entire Catalan regional government were dismissed by the Spanish government. Madrid did not recognize Catalonia's declaration of independence and said it would hold elections in December. While waiting for the election, the central government will have direct control of Catalonia.
4. South Korean Vice Minister of Unification visits the US to discuss the North Korea issue

South Korean Vice Unification Minister Chun Hae-sung began a six-day visit to the United States on November 26.
In Washington, Vice Minister Chun Hae-sung will meet with Special Representative for North Korea Policy Joseph Yun and Senator Ed Markey to explain South Korea's policy toward North Korea and call for cooperation from the United States.
South Korean Vice Unification Minister Chun Hae-sung is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the Forum on Korean Peninsula Issues and meet with experts on the issue.
He will then travel to New York to meet with officials from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on November 30.
5. Indonesia closes Lombok airport due to volcano

On the evening of November 26, local time, Mount Agung on the Indonesian island of Bali continued to erupt, forcing the closure of Lombok airport.
Indonesian and local authorities have increased flight warnings around the Bali region as a volcano erupted spewing ash as high as 6,000 metres.
For about two hours before dark, the volcano continued to spew ash.
On the morning of November 26, the Indonesian Center for Disaster Mitigation and Meteorology (PVMBG) had to raise the danger warning level from orange to red - the third warning level on a four-level scale, and warned people to stay away from the volcano within a range of 6 to 7.5 km.
Thousands of tourists have been stranded in Bali after flights were canceled due to the eruption of Mount Agung volcano. Yesterday alone, at least 28 flights to the popular tourist island were disrupted./.
