50 candidates participate in the National Vocational Skills Assessment Exam

Attending were leaders of the General Department of Vocational Training, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and leaders of relevant departments and branches.
(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, March 19, the National Vocational Skills Assessment Center under the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College opened the pilot national vocational skills assessment in 2013. Attending were leaders of the General Department of Vocational Training, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and leaders of relevant departments and branches.
The National Vocational Skills Assessment Exam has 50 candidates from 2 majors: Welding and Industrial Electricity, currently studying at vocational schools or working at enterprises. Candidates will have to go through two parts: theory and practice, if they meet the standards, they will be granted a National Vocational Certificate, level 2 vocational skills.

The exam aims to encourage workers to continuously improve their vocational skills, thereby improving the quality of human resources; At the same time, it detects the shortage of vocational skills of workers compared to the issued national vocational skills standards to promptly supplement them during the vocational training process. This is also the basis for businesses to reasonably arrange jobs and salary policies for workers.
The vocational skills assessment took place over 3 days from March 19 to March 22.
