6 movies will be shown during the celebration of major holidays

From April 25 to May 20, the Film Festival celebrating major holidays April 30, May 1, May 19 and the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory will be held nationwide.

Documentary "Earthquake in Dien Bien Phu"

The films selected for screening in this Film Series include: Newly produced feature film "Living with History" produced by Vietnam Feature Film Studio One Member Co., Ltd.; Feature film "Dong Loc T-junction" produced by Vietnam Feature Film Studio One Member Co., Ltd.; Feature film "Going South to North" produced by Feature Film Joint Stock Company I; Newly produced documentary film "My Hometown Dien Bien" produced by Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Co., Ltd. and Documentary films "Earthquake in Dien Bien Phu", "Dien Bien Memories" produced by Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Co., Ltd.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Cinema to preside over and coordinate with the Vietnam Feature Film Studio One Member Limited Liability Company, Feature Film Joint Stock Company I, the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio One Member Limited Liability Company, the National Cinema Center, and FAFIM Vietnam Joint Stock Company to organize this Film Festival.

Order production of video documentary "Historical Rendezvous"

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also ordered the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio Company Limited to produce the video documentary "Historical Rendezvous" (5 episodes) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2014) in accordance with the script of the film "Historical Rendezvous" approved by the Department of Cinema.
