In 6 months, Nghe An's industrial production index increased by more than 10%
In the first 6 months of 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges, Nghe An's industrial production index increased by 10.03% over the same period in 2023.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in recent times, industrial production has faced many difficulties due to the complicated and unstable fluctuations of the world economy; pressure on inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, especially the scarce and high prices of input materials. However, with the direction of the provincial leaders, along with all levels and sectors, difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities have been promptly resolved; and enterprises have been proactively supported, so industrial production in the province has maintained a stable growth rate.
The industrial production index in June 2024 increased by 15.01% over the same period in 2023. Of which: Production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 19.56%; Processing and manufacturing industry increased by 15.86%; Water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 1.11% and the Mining industry by 91.38% over the same period.
In June 2024, businesses have stepped up production and expanded their business scale. Some new factories after the trial period have had stable commercial products. Many new projects have been put into operation, contributing to the economic growth of the province such as: Taical additives of Mega factories, electronic components, auto spare parts, solar battery modules; leather shoes.
In the first 6 months of 2024, the industrial production index increased by 10.03% over the same period. Of which: the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 11.06%; Water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 8.16%; Mining industry increased by 3.03% and Production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 2.66%.
The industrial production index increased as businesses made efforts to return to production. Some factories signed new orders at the beginning of the year, increasing exports. Some products found markets, so production was more stable.
Typically: Electric cable production service is estimated at 4,068.9 billion VND, 2.2 times higher; Wood shavings and chips are estimated at 134.3 thousand tons, up 70.95%; Processed stone is estimated at 587.5 thousand m3, up 63.01%; Headphones without microphones are estimated at 23.3 million units, up 61.72%; Beer cans are estimated at 3.6 thousand tons, up 29.77%; Paper packaging is estimated at 27.2 million units, up 27.17%; Sugar is estimated at 101.2 thousand tons, up 19.84%; Cartons are estimated at 11.0 million units, up 16.46%...
In addition to the advantages, the production situation of some enterprises is still facing difficulties, exports are decreasing, and orders cannot be found. Meanwhile, input material prices are high, some factories cannot recruit workers as required, the consumption market is slow, there is a shortage of raw materials or they arrive later than planned. Products are difficult to sell, some enterprises have workers take turns off due to few orders, disrupting the production situation, so they cannot reach the planned output and revenue.
