(Baonghean.vn) - After 10 days of training, on August 26, the family medicine training course for 60 comrades working in military medicine in Nghe An Border Guard held its closing ceremony.

Equipping the military medical staff of Nghe An Border Guard with family medicine knowledge aims to detect and diagnose early signs of disease; effectively treat common outpatient diseases, contribute to reducing hospital overload, increase the trust of patients and their families in doctors... and reduce social costs for health care, ensuring sustainable economic and social development.

The Border Guard military medics were equipped with knowledge, concepts, and principles of family medicine by teachers of the family medicine department of Hanoi Medical University.

The organizers awarded certificates to the students.

At the same time, update new knowledge in common medical examination and treatment at grassroots health facilities, effectively apply it in practice to serve soldiers and people in the border areas, and improve the quality of medical service provision in the border areas of Nghe An province.

During the training, the class also organized for students to directly practice medical examination, treatment, and provide free medicine to policy families and poor households in Dien Trung commune (Dien Chau).
