60 months in prison for one minute of anger

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of September 27, 2015, the People's Court of Do Luong district tried the case of Le Van Minh (born in 1973), residing in hamlet 1, Nam Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province, for the act of slashing and seriously injuring someone.

According to the indictment of the People's Procuracy of Do Luong district: At about 8:00 p.m. on July 7, 2014, in hamlet 5b, Nam Son commune, Do Luong district, due to a conflict while talking with Nguyen Van Quan, Le Van Minh used a homemade knife to slash Nguyen Van Quan many times, resulting in Quan being seriously injured with a disability rate of 40%.

With the above evidence, the jury sentenced Le Van Minh to 60 months in prison./.
