At that time, while patrolling and controlling National Highway 1A through Dien Truong commune, the working group inspected a passenger car with license plate 75B 01151 driven by Nguyen Trung Dung from Quang Tri city. The car was carrying 350 doves without quarantine papers and animal quarantine stamps. The driver admitted to transporting these birds from Quang Tri to Ha Nam for sale.

Also on the morning of July 4, when checking the passenger bus 75B 01031 driven by Pham Van Thanh, the Dien Chau Traffic Control Station also discovered 8 foam boxes containing 640 kg of pig organs. Although the above organs had quarantine documents, they were invalid.

All birds and organs were handed over to Dien Chau Veterinary Station for destruction according to the law.
