650 million VND to flood victims in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn)- On November 7 and 8, the Vietnamese community in the Federal Republic of Germany coordinated with CAND Newspaper to visit and support families in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses due to floods in Nghe An.

Representatives of the Vietnamese community in Germany and CAND Newspaper presented 100 gifts to people in two communes of Hung Linh and Hung Long (Hung Nguyen).

The delegation went to Hung Nguyen district to give 100 gifts to people in Hung Linh and Hung Long communes; and 75 gifts to people in Thanh Tung commune (Thanh Chuong). Each gift was worth 1 million VND. For 4 families in the province whose relatives died in the flood and were in difficult circumstances, the delegation supported each gift with 5 million VND.

On November 8, the delegation visited Huu Khuong and Luong Minh communes (Tuong Duong) to present 250 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to 250 families affected by the recent flood. Presented to 6 families in particularly difficult circumstances, each worth 5 million VND.

Representatives of the Vietnamese community in Germany and CAND Newspaper visited and shared with people in the flooded area of ​​Thanh Chuong.

This time, the delegation donated 650 million VND to flood victims in Nghe An; 600 million VND to Ha Tinh province; 1 billion VND to Quang Binh and Quang Tri each. The total amount of money that overseas Vietnamese in Germany and international friends in Germany donated to support the people of the Central region this time was more than 3 billion VND. In addition, the delegation also presented a gift from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 100 million VND; the Global Trade Cooperation Company in Germany donated 18,000 Euros to the people of Nghe An.
