Ho Chi Minh City supports Nghe An with 8 billion VND to overcome consequences after natural disasters
On the morning of September 19, in Truong Vinh ward, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation led by comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presented 8 billion VND to support Nghe An people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

On behalf of the working delegation, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - Truong Thi Bich Hanh expressed her emotion when she was in Nghe An to visit and encourage people after the heavy losses caused by storms and floods.
With the special affection of the city named after Uncle Ho for his homeland, during the stormy days, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City always keep an eye on the Central region, especially Nghe An.
To promptly support Nghe An people to overcome the consequences of storms No. 3 and No. 5, Ho Chi Minh City donated 8 billion VND, helping people stabilize their lives soon.

Along with the funding, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City previously directed departments, branches, sectors and socio-political organizations to implement many practical and direct support activities in Nghe An. Typically, the City Department of Health mobilized medical staff and doctors from many specialized hospitals, organized medical examinations, provided free medicine, provided guidance on disease prevention and donated medical equipment and necessities to the people.
Other departments, branches and organizations have also accompanied people in repairing houses, supporting livelihoods and awarding scholarships to children.

Speaking at the reception program, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Dinh Hung expressed his deep gratitude for the affection and attention of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City for Nghe An.
He also shared about the heavy damage caused by storms No. 3 and No. 5, and acknowledged the sharing of agencies, units, and philanthropists, including more than 20 delegations from Ho Chi Minh City who directly came to support.
He affirmed that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will promptly transfer support resources to people in affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.

Also this morning, the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee delegation presented gifts to households affected by storms and storms and disadvantaged students with a total value of 164 million VND in Vinh Loc ward.
In Vinh Loc Ward, the delegation also visited and encouraged Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lien (Tien Dong block) - a poor household with a child with congenital heart disease. At the family of Mrs. Tran Thi Phuong (Thai Son block), the delegation presented a house building support sign worth 60 million VND; at the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province also decided to draw from the province's relief fund to support an additional 60 million VND for the family.
