With the support of Prudential Life Insurance Company, Nghe An Province Children's Fund in collaboration with Military Hospital IV organized the opening ceremony of the humanitarian surgery program for children with eye disabilities. |
This is part of the "For the Eyes of Children" 2015 program between Prudential Vietnam and the Vietnam Children's Fund. Accordingly, Nghe An province has 67 children with eye disabilities (strabismus, squint, droopy eyelids, cataracts...) in especially difficult circumstances who are sponsored by Prudential Company for free surgery and hospitalization according to the regulations of the Vietnam Children's Fund. At Military Hospital IV, a team of ophthalmologists screened, detected, and classified eye diseases, thereby providing appropriate treatment for the children.

Over the years, Prudential Vietnam has cooperated with the Vietnam Children's Fund to carry out many activities to support poor children in especially difficult circumstances, such as: sponsoring scholarships, building welfare projects for children in mountainous provinces, sponsoring children with disabilities and children from poor families, difficult circumstances, etc. All of which have been carried out effectively and received high appreciation from the community.
This is the fourth time the program has been implemented to help children with eye disabilities have the opportunity to restore their vision, find joy and faith in life.
