7 years in prison for illegal drug trafficking
(Baonghean.vn) - Quan took 1.6 million VND to buy drugs and then brought them home to divide into small pieces and sell them to customers. While making the transaction, he was arrested by the police.
On June 22, the People's Court of Que Phong district held a public mobile trial of the case of "Illegal drug trafficking" against defendant Luong Van Quan (born in 1961, residing in Na Phi village, Muong Noc commune).
According to the indictment, on February 20, Quan went to Huoi Do village (Muong Noc commune) to buy drugs from two Mong men for 1.6 million VND. Quan divided the purchased drugs into 3 parts.

On February 21, Quan took a package to Na Phi village (Muong Noc) to sell to customers. While making the transaction, he was arrested by Que Phong district police.
Searching Quan's residence, the investigation agency continued to seize 2 packages of heroin, the total weight of the drug seized was 5.6 grams. It is known that Quan has been sentenced to prison twice for drug trafficking.
For the defendant's violation, the People's Court sentenced Luong Van Quan to 7 years in prison for the crime of "Illegal drug trafficking".
