7 years of secret love, several breakups and reunions of H'Hen Nie and her photographer boyfriend

H'Hen Niê and her boyfriend have known each other since 2018 but only made their relationship public in early 2025; during that time, they have experienced many breakups and reunions.

Trước đó, vào cuối tháng 1, H'Hen Niê lần đầu tiên công khai bạn trai - nhiếp ảnh gia Tuấn Khôi, hơn cô 3 tuổi - sau 7 năm hẹn hò. Hoa hậu cho biết, anh là mối tình đầu của cô.
Previously, at the end of January, H'Hen Nie made public her boyfriend - photographer Tuan Khoi, 3 years older than her - for the first time after 7 years of dating. The beauty queen said that he was her first love.
Quen nhau 7 năm nhưng chỉ tới khi xác định sẽ kết hôn trong năm 2025, họ mới công bố chuyện tình cảm. Kể từ đó, hai người thoải mái chia sẻ với người hâm mộ những tấm ảnh ghi lại cột mốc đáng nhớ trong hành trình yêu của mình.
They have known each other for 7 years but only announced their relationship when they decided to get married in 2025. Since then, the two have freely shared with fans photos recording memorable milestones in their love journey.

Tết 2019, Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ Việt Nam thừa nhận đang yêu nhưng từ chối tiết lộ danh tính bạn trai. Cô chỉ nói anh hơn cô 3 tuổi, làm việc trong lĩnh vực truyền thông và là mối tình đầu. Tấm ảnh này được chụp năm 2019 trong một lần cả hai đi công tác ở nước ngoài.

Năm 2020, khi chia sẻ hình ảnh này, Tuấn Khôi dùng một biểu tượng để che mặt H'Hen Niê. Tuy nhiên, dựa vào những đặc điểm về trang phục và ngoại hình, người hâm mộ dễ dàng nhận ra đó là Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ Việt Nam 2017. Đặc biệt hơn, cũng trong thời điểm đó, H'Hen đăng ảnh bạn trai chơi đàn guitar và vui đùa tại quê nhà cô. Dù H'Hen đã dùng biểu tượng che mặt anh nhưng cộng đồng mạng vẫn nhận ra nhiếp ảnh gia Tuấn Khôi.

Tháng 6/2020, Tuấn Khôi bỗng xoá hết những hình ảnh liên quan tới H'Hen Niê trên trang cá nhân. Nhiều người đoán họ đã chia tay. Tháng 10/2022, H'Hen Niê xác nhận cô và bạn trai không còn bên nhau:
In June 2020, Tuan Khoi suddenly deleted all photos related to H'Hen Nie on his personal page. Many people guessed that they had broken up. In October 2022, H'Hen Nie confirmed that she and her boyfriend were no longer together: "The reason for the breakup was because the first time I met someone, I imagined love would be like in the movies but it really wasn't like that! Now I'm more gentle, I have to make everything more romantic myself." However, just a few months later, they reunited.
H’Hen Niê cho biết bạn trai cô là người giàu có về tình cảm chứ không phải về tiền bạc. Anh rất tâm lý, đã bớt cảm giác tự ti khi ở cạnh bạn gái hoa hậu; luôn đồng hành và chăm sóc cô hết mực trong cuộc sống lẫn công việc.
H'Hen Niê said her boyfriend is rich in love, not in money. He is very considerate, has reduced his inferiority complex when with his beauty queen girlfriend; always accompanies and takes care of her wholeheartedly in life and work.
Tháng 4/2023, cặp đôi chia tay lần thứ hai và tái hợp chỉ ít tháng sau đó. Người đẹp tâm sự rằng, hai người thấu hiểu nhau hơn sau những biến cố: “Tôi không còn yêu theo kiểu mơ mộng giống ngày xưa mà thực tế, chín chắn hơn. Giữa chúng tôi ngày càng có sự thấu hiểu nhau. Trước mọi tình huống, hai đứa thường chậm lại, suy nghĩ thấu đáo thay vì bộp chộp”.
In April 2023, the couple broke up for the second time and reunited just a few months later. The beauty confided that the two understood each other better after the events: “I no longer love in the dreamy way like before, but more realistically and maturely. There is more and more understanding between us. In every situation, we often slow down and think carefully instead of being impulsive.”

Regarding the reason for keeping her boyfriend a secret for many years, H'Hen Nie once said: "I am very shy about sharing my love story, and so is my friend. We are both self-starters, so we value our careers very much and just want to maintain a good relationship so we can focus on work. H’Hen Niê sinh năm 1992 tại Đắk Lắk, là người dân tộc Ê-đê. Cô hoạt động trong showbiz với vai trò người mẫu, sau đó tham gia cuộc thi Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ Việt Nam 2017 và giành ngôi vị cao nhất. Năm 2018, H’Hen Niê chinh chiến tại Miss Universe, lọt Top 5 chung cuộc, thành tích cao nhất của đại diện Việt Nam tại đấu trường nhan sắc đình đám này.
H'Hen Niê was born in 1992 in Dak Lak, is an Ede ethnic. She worked in showbiz as a model, then participated in the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 contest and won the highest title. In 2018, H'Hen Niê competed in Miss Universe, reaching the Top 5 finalists, the highest achievement of a Vietnamese representative in this prestigious beauty arena.
