725 9th grade students achieved the title of excellent students at the provincial level in the 2011-2012 school year.
(Baonghean.vn) -Nghe An Department of Education and Training has just organized a provincial-level competition for excellent secondary school students in the 2011-2012 school year. As a result, 725 students were recognized as excellent students at the provincial level.
The exam was divided into two groups: students from 15 districts, cities, and towns in the lowlands and mountainous areas took part in group A; students from 5 highland districts took part in group B. There were 1,239 9th grade students taking part in the exam in 9 subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Civic Education, Foreign Languages (including English and French); of which 1,016 students took part in group A, 223 students took part in group B.
As a result, 725 students (including 614 students in group A, 111 students in group B) were recognized as excellent students at the provincial level, of which 39 students won first prize, 191 students won second prize, 290 students won third prize and 205 students won encouragement prize. The localities with high results, in order, in group A are: Vinh (average score 14.51), Dien Chau (13.86), Do Luong (13.25), Quynh Luu (13.11), Thanh Chuong (12.99); in group B are: Con Cuong (12.38), Quy Chau (9.50).
Regarding the average score, in group A, it is 12.55/20.00; in group B, it is 9.49/20.00. Regarding the benchmark score to recognize excellent students at the provincial level, in group A, Physics is 13.50; French and Civics are 13.00; Chemistry is 12.50; Biology and English is 12.25; Math and History is 12.00; Geography is 11.50; Literature is 11.00; in group B, Civics is 11.50; Math and Literature is 11; the remaining 6 subjects are all 10.00.
