80 billion VND to upgrade the memorial site of comrade Vo Chi Cong
On July 30, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Minh Ca signed a decision approving the investment project to build and upgrade the memorial site of comrade Vo Chi Cong in Tam Xuan commune, Nui Thanh district (Quang Nam).
The project includes: renovating and building a new Exhibition House; building a new House for preserving and storing artifacts; renovating and upgrading items: Garden, fence, gate, resting hut; expanding the Memorial Area; building a new community library, Reception House, Management House, road to the Memorial Area...
The project is built on an area of over 24,000 square meters, with a total public investment capital of over 80 billion VND (from the State budget) invested by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The goal of the renovation investment is to make the memorial site of comrade Vo Chi Cong suitable for the architectural landscape, worthy of the scale of a national relic, to show respect and gratitude for the great contributions of the comrade to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, thereby educating the tradition of patriotism for the young generation today and tomorrow...
