821 illegal forest product processing facilities

Most processing facilities develop spontaneously, so they often organize production in residential areas, which not only makes it difficult to inspect and handle violations, but also seriously affects the environment, security and order... People living around the processing facilities have reported this situation to relevant levels and sectors, but it has not yet been resolved. According to the investigation of the authorities, there are currently 1,364 forest product processing facilities in the province, but 821 of them do not have a business license. This startling number reflects the lax management of the forest product processing sector by relevant levels and sectors.
Many unlicensed processing facilities often use forest products of unclear origin. According to Forestry officials, most localities in the province have unlicensed forest product processing facilities such as Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong... The existence of many illegal forest product processing facilities will cause budget losses, make it difficult to manage forest products, create an unhealthy production and business environment... Therefore, it is necessary to restore order and discipline in the management of forest product processing facilities, and promptly handle relevant levels and sectors that allow the above situation to occur.
