Taking supplements, using antibacterial soaps, antiseptic mouthwashes... pose many potential dangers to your health.

1. Take nutritional supplements

According to Lolwot, many studies have shown that supplementing large amounts of nutrients such as vitamin B6, magnesium and iron increases mortality rates in older women. Arbitrarily increasing vitamin E can increase the risk of prostate cancer in men.

2. Soak in a hot tub

Hot tubs can be a great way to relax, but they can also harbor a host of bacteria that can lead to rashes and skin damage.

3. Use antiseptic mouthwash

A study published in the journal Free Radical Biology Medicine found that using antiseptic mouthwash twice a day can increase blood pressure by up to 3.5 mm Hg, increasing the risk of heart attack.

4. Work out at the gym

Several studies have shown that gyms have high levels of dust, formaldehyde, and carbon dioxide in the air. When these concentrations reach a certain level, they can cause asthma and respiratory problems. High levels of carbon dioxide have been shown to cause physical fatigue and impair cognitive performance.

5. Always choose low-fat foods

Eating low-fat foods can help you lose weight. However, cutting out omega-3 fatty acids can be detrimental to your health. Omega-3 fatty acids, found in flaxseeds, walnuts, and fish oils, help keep skin firm and reduce wrinkles. Omega-3 fatty acids are also essential for heart health.

6. Drink milk

Many people believe that consuming more milk can help prevent bone fractures. But according to a study published in the British Medical Journal, there is no link between milk consumption and the risk of bone fractures. The results of the study showed that people who drank a lot of milk were more likely to die early than those who drank little or no milk.

7. Exercise vigorously in the morning

Regular exercise is good for your health. However, sometimes waking up early to exercise is not as good as you think. A study by Brunel University has found that strenuous exercise in the morning increases the risk of viral and bacterial infections in athletes.

8. Vegetarianism

Eating only vegetarian foods increases the risk of nutritional deficiencies. Vegetarians are more likely to suffer from chronic diseases than people whose diets include meat and fish.

9. Use antibacterial soap

Antibacterial soaps can promote the growth of drug-resistant bacteria. Furthermore, they are no more effective at cleaning than washing with regular soap and water.
