90 Nghe An artists are members of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Music Performing Artists' Rights.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 18, the ceremony to admit and award membership cards to the Vietnam Association for the Protection of the Rights of Performing Music Artists took place in Nghe An. At the ceremony, 90 Nghe An artists working in various fields were considered for admission and awarded membership cards by the Association.

The Vietnam Association for the Protection of the Rights of Performing Music Artists is a voluntary professional social organization of Vietnamese performing music artists established under Decision No. 1813/QD-BNV dated December 1, 2015, under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Association was established to protect the related rights of Vietnamese music performing artists. By cooperating and supporting each other to promote the development of music products; combating infringements of related rights in the performance field; supporting the release to bring works to the public conveniently; organizing conferences, seminars, training courses, fostering and other activities in the field of music performance according to regulations; helping young artists improve their professional skills; creating a professional stage for artists.

Speaking at the membership admission ceremony in Nghe An, People's Artist Thanh Hoa said: "In the past, when facing professional problems, many artists did not know how to protect their own rights, so the establishment of the Association not only helps performing artists have a common home to speak up, but also a place for artists to be protected from problems during their performance activities. The Association will be a place to connect, share and support each other, promoting the continuous creativity of artists."

This is the second time the Association's Executive Committee has organized the admission of members in provinces and cities. After the admission ceremony, the Association's Executive Committee member - musician Quoc Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe will organize connections to develop the Association's members in 5 Central provinces./.
