AFC highly appreciates Vietnam's organization of the 2014 Women's Asian Cup
Before the final match of the 2014 Asian Women's Football Championship between Japan and Australia took place on the evening of May 25, the leaders of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) met and presented commemorative medals to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Thong Nhat Sports Center.

At the meeting, AFC Vice President Moya Dodd and AFC General Secretary Dato' Alex Soosay presented commemorative medals to VFF and Thong Nhat Sports Center, as a recognition and high appreciation of the efforts of VFF and Thong Nhat Sports Center in successfully organizing the 2014 Asian Women's Football Championship in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, Ms. Moya Dodd - Vice President of AFC also affirmed that the successful organization of the 2014 Asian Women's Football Championship once again demonstrated the capacity and prestige of VFF in major continental football events.
Secretary General Le Hoai Anh represented VFF to receive the commemorative medal and expressed that if the AFC trusts VFF to host any tournament, VFF will do its best with the highest responsibility, and hopes that in the future Vietnam will continue to be an attractive destination for Asian football.
