According to reports, during the process of digging to expand the Suez Canal, workers accidentally discovered many ancient artifacts such as jewelry, statues... Notably, among the found artifacts were many important stone slabs such as the stone tablets of Ramesses II and Sesostris III - the first Egyptian kings to think of connecting the Nile River with the Red Sea. All of the above artifacts have been transferred to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which was inaugurated not long ago.

The discovery of the above artifacts has made many archaeologists feel excited and enthusiastic. According to Mr. Mamdouh Al Damati, Minister of Antiquities of Egypt, the artifacts found during the expansion of the Suez Canal are an important and invaluable discovery for the archaeology industry. Mr. Damati stated that the found stone slabs will tell people about a part of Egypt's history as well as about the gateway to Egypt in the east.

In addition to the excitement of archaeologists, the discovery of the artifacts was also welcomed by the country's tourism industry. This is especially true in the case of Egypt's tourism economy - an industry that has always relied on cultural heritage values for development - but is facing many difficulties due to political instability.
