Air Mekong opens Vinh - Buon Ma Thuot - Ho Chi Minh City route
(Baonghean) -This morning, September 26, in Vinh City, Air Mekong Airlines held a ceremony to announce the Vinh - Buon Ma Thuot - Ho Chi Minh City flight route.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham Quy Tieu - Deputy Minister of Transport, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam; Tran Hieu - Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Major General Le Viet Hoe - Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Air Defense - Air Force. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Ho Duc Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Air Mekong at the opening ceremony of new flight route
Starting from October 1, 2011, Air Mekong will have 3 flights Vinh - Buon Ma Thuot - Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and vice versa. Departure at Vinh airport at 12 noon and departure at Buon Ma Thuot airport at 10:15. This is a new flight route that contributes to connecting the North Central region with the Central Highlands and Ho Chi Minh City.
On behalf of the Ministry of Transport, Deputy Minister Pham Quy Tieu spoke highly of the development of Air Mekong, the first private airline in Vietnam to ensure good flight services and safety on domestic flights, contributing to giving Nghe An tourists a new choice, while also contributing to reducing road traffic.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ho Duc Phoc highly appreciated the contribution of Air Mekong, this is a good opportunity for the socio-economic development of Nghe An province and the Central Highlands, an important start in promoting economic exchange, facilitating travel for Nghe An children who are working and living in the Central Highlands, in line with the socio-economic development orientation of Nghe An.
