A heartwarming mass wedding ceremony titled "Trade Union Embrace - Steadfast Love" for 11 couples of workers in Nghe An.
This special wedding ceremony is a meaningful and practical spiritual gift for 11 couples who are union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
On the morning of December 28th, at the Cung Le Hoi wedding center (Truong Vinh ward), the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union, in coordination with the Provincial Women's Union, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, and other participating agencies and units, organized a wedding ceremony.mass weddingThe theme for 2025 is "The Embrace of the Trade Union - Steadfast in Love".
Attending and congratulating the couples on their happiness, on behalf of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor was Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President.
Representing the province were: Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Hoang Thi Thu Hien - President of the Provincial Women's Union; Nguyen Viet Hung - President of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Kha Van Tam - President of the Provincial Labor Union; along with representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units, and relatives of the couples.
In a luxurious and romantic setting, 11 couples of workers employed at businesses such as Luxshare-ICT Nghe An Co., Ltd., Cypress Leather Shoes Company, etc., performed their wedding rituals amidst the blessings of nearly 300 delegates and guests.
These are young couples who have overcome many difficulties to build a home together, but due to economic conditions and family circumstances, they have not been able to hold a complete wedding ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor - delivered a moving speech, emphasizing that this was the first time the organization had coordinated and organized a wedding ceremony for worker couples.
The comrade affirmed that the ceremony was not only a wedding ritual but also a "warm embrace," a sharing and compensation from the Trade Union organization to workers amidst the hardships of making a living.

At the ceremony, traditional rituals such as exchanging wedding rings, cutting the cake, and toasting the wedding wine were performed solemnly. In particular, to support the couples, the Organizing Committee and 20 sponsors presented many valuable gifts.
Specifically, each couple received one gold coin from the Organizing Committee; a set of bedding; health care packages, along with various forms of support regarding attire, photography, and other wedding services.
Emotionally sharing their stories at the program, representatives of the 11 couples expressed their happiness and gratitude to the Trade Union and other agencies and units for their care and understanding, which enabled disadvantaged workers to have a dignified and warm wedding. This will be an unforgettable memory in the lives of each couple.
During this meaningful moment of the big day, representatives from both sets of parents also gave speeches, expressing their deep gratitude to the Trade Union and the collaborating units, and offering sincere advice and encouragement to the couples.
Following the ceremonies, the organizers prepared a reception for delegates and their families to celebrate with the couples, and many special cultural performances were presented at the event.
Prior to the event, 11 couples laid flowers in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh at the square named after him. There, the organizers and the couples also took commemorative photos and performed a balloon release ceremony to wish for good luck and peace.
The 2025 mass wedding ceremony is not only a meaningful event for the 11 couples but also powerfully spreads a message about humanity, camaraderie, and the community's responsibility in building happy and progressive families.
