The house of Ms. Hoang Thi Dung, 46 years old, in block 11 of Hung Nguyen district town is small and simple like many other houses in the district town. The difference here is that the house is always open. For the district's "Exam Support" teams, this has become a familiar address every exam season. When asked to help poor students have a place to stay during the exam period, Ms. Hoang Thi Dung was ready to welcome and help immediately without taking any cost. Ms. Hoang Thi Dung is a teacher. For many years, despite her family's difficult circumstances, she is always willing to welcome candidates to live with her. Not only providing food and accommodation, she can also help candidates review their lessons.

Ms. Hoang Thi Dung confided: “Not only this year but every year, when I meet children who ask to stay to take exams, I also consider them as my own children and then help them create conditions for them to feel secure in taking the exam and achieve high results. Fully aware of that, poor students who come to eat and stay for free at Ms. Dung’s house always silently thank her and are determined to try to review their lessons and study well so as not to disappoint her longing, full of love. Candidate Luong Thi Ngan, Khe Kien village, Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district - one of 7 poor students staying at Dung's house said: "I feel very lucky when I got there and met the young volunteers who took me to Gi's house. Gi is like my mother, taking care of me very enthusiastically. I feel very comfortable at Gi's house, all activities feel like I'm at home. I have friends to study and review for exams, if I don't understand anything I can ask them more."

In Hung Nguyen town, not only Ms. Hoang Thi Dung's family welcomed the candidates to their home and provided free accommodation, but many other families did the same. According to statistics, more than 400 poor students who came to take the exam at Thai Lao High School were welcomed. The candidates seemed very secure and happy when they were given free accommodation in families in Hung Nguyen town. The parents and siblings took on the responsibility of taking care of the younger generation with the community; sharing the difficulties of the candidates. They received more joy for themselves.

It can be said that all levels of the Party committee, government, departments and people of Hung Nguyen district town have really taken part in taking care of the students. In the days before the exam, the town's youth union and volunteer teams coordinated with the commune executive committees to conduct surveys and ask households to help students stay for free. Through the survey, Hung Nguyen district town has found 1,360 places to stay for the students. The policy of providing free places to stay for the students has received the support of all the people. Families have proactively come to the volunteer teams to take the students home.
